- TRAVEL SEARCH is easy to install. Directions are provided in the
- document TSINFO.TXT, found on this diskette. Most people will want to
- read that document before installing the database.
-
- On the other hand, if you have a TRAVEL SEARCH diskette with an install
- program on it, and don't want to read TSINFO.TXT it is possible to
- install the database by following the directions as they appear on the
- screen. Put the diskette in the appropriate drive and type INSTALL.
- ENTER. Accept the default conditions by saying "yes" each time you are
- asked if the installation can proceed.
-
- There is an important caution for users who have a copy of TRAVEL SEARCH
- that has been downloaded from an on-line service. Files that are
- downloaded are compressed but will not contain an install program.
- Please note that when you un-compress the files a particular directory
- name is R E Q U I R E D in order to run the program. TSINFO.TXT contains
- the following instructions for users who have downloaded the file:
-
- ". . . create a directory named TSDIR. Unzip the TRAVEL SEARCH files
- into the directory, TSDIR. Set files=40, buffers=30 in your CONFIG.SYS
- file.
-
- "*****The name of the Directory is critical. *****FILES MUST BE PLACED
- INTO A DIRECTORY NAMED TSDIR IN ORDER FOR THE PROGRAM TO RUN.*****
-
- "Our decision to restrict the directory name to TSDIR was made in the
- interest of our users. There are more than 40 files in the database.
- Most users will not want to put that many files in a general purpose
- directory where they will be interspersed with files from other
- programs."
